This is Microsoft’s first antitrust investigation in the EU for nearly 15 years. First in 15 years? I could have sworn it was more like 15th this year.
I'm sure this has nothing to do with Slack being down this morning.

Teams is a core UI component to the Microsoft 365 environment, using Exchange on-line for chats and SharePoint on-line for file storage. My staff uses both Teams and Slack, depending on who they're talking to. Now the braindead Teams client that ships with Windows 11 - that needs to go away.

The U.S. is concealing a longstanding program that retrieves and reverse engineers unidentified flying objects, a former Air Force intelligence officer testified Wednesday to Congress. The Pentagon has denied his claims. The Truth is allegedly out there

And, these kinds of whistles, followed by official denials ...

i'm hoping for an alien abduction real soon, and that they might fix a few things wrong with ... this 1038+ lunar-cycled body: take all the samples they want; put some hairy swagger back on those telomeres.
Meanwhile, the aliens right under our feet party-on: [^].

On the other hand, what would be the best way to make possibly real affected people get perceived as nuts? To make a film that describe what they would try to whistleblow, so most people say:
Yeah, right. You have seen the film XYZ under the effects of whatever drug you took and you think it was for real.

That would probably be some of the most classified material this country has and this "ex-whatever" yahoo is out there talking about it? So much for the respect of the credentials, the requirements to get them, the job, and his peers.
To say I don't believe him would be an understatement.

Area 51 was spoken about for a long time and people didn't believe it (and I only mean the place itself, not the "content"). Later on it got disclosed and some people could have said: "See? I told you"
I am not telling this is true. I am just telling, that it could be true.
Dave Kreskowiak wrote: So much for the respect of the credentials, the requirements to get them, the job, and his peers. Pissed off people can go way long beyond that just for revenge.
And it would be not the first time, someone discloses things giving a rat crap about that (or maybe because they thought it is too "trascendental" to be kept secret and must be know by the general public)
Or whatever the personal reason for such a leak is.
i.E. Snowden
On the other side... I am sceptical too. It would be a real coincidence that the only place in the world where UFOs land, get caught, crash, whatsoever... is the USA. And that noone else manages to even detect them before the crash. Or that "men in black" flashlight does exist and is used extensivelly to hide the cases.

And now... again. If you have a problem with my posts... just ignore them.
But due to your 3 nitpicky posts and my "same bullshit again" answers, the thread of this news item is hijacked with an actual unrelated discussion. And that's really not relevant to a technical code forum.
So next time, instead of start hijacking a thread with valueless complain messages... do us all a favor and keep them to yourself and report the message you were going to answer as irrelevant or complain in the B&S to the hamsters.

I didn't write down everything that makes me extremely skeptical of these "witnesses" claims.

You're catching on though. We've supposedly had alien stuff laying around military facilities going back to Roswell, almost 80 years ago. You'd think we would have cracked the power generation capabilities by now and applied it to at least military applications if not civilian.

A coalition of companies, including Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and TomTom, have released their first open map dataset in an effort to create an open-source mapping solution. Here be (open source) dragons

Sorry... but as someone said the other day... if I have to pay with my data to use something for free in the internet, I prefer to have my data exploited by only one company.
Additionally, I have a personal problem with Meta. Pity for TomTom, I have liked their products for long, but I think I'll pass on this, at least for a good while.

Yep, and the FCC originally had SpaceX's StarLink system in their rural internet initiative but removed it under pressure from other satellite internet companies as well as traditional cable (phone and TV) companies. Of course those legacy companies still haven't stepped up to provide service.

If you’re a developer familiar with the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture, you know it’s a popular choice for building applications. However, it comes with its challenges, especially when it comes to boilerplate code and threading issues. Until the next pattern comes along
