Engineers at CSEM have developed a new machine-learning method that paves the way for artificial intelligence to be used in applications that until now have been deemed too sensitive. * also known as 'not starting from scratch everytime'

I continue wondering... are we really wanting to make computers so "intelligent" and give them even more control over "too sensitive" applications?
When it explodes in our faces, we will deserve it.

Google’s in-house incubator Area 120 is today introducing a new work-tracking tool, Tables, which aims to make tracking projects more efficient by investing in automation. Checking... checking... No, not cancelled yet
US-only (maybe for now, or maybe it's just cancelled everywhere else)

So... not enough tracking workers and other users, now they want to track the work too?

Microsoft's Chromium-based Edge was first released in January to Windows consumers and enterprises, and now Linux users will finally get a taste of Microsoft's new browser. I'm sure they'll all jump on that opportunity

I'm sure the 0.1% of Linux web devs whose management requires explicit testing of new features on Edge (as opposed to the rest of us who're just " it, it's HTML5 so it's 99.9% likely to work; good enough unless a major bug report comes in") in addition to actually used browsers will be excited they don't need to fire up a W10 VM anymore.

Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Bing mobile app users on every platform including iOS and iPadOS are at risk after terabytes of user information have been stolen from an open server. Millions of people use Bing?
On iOS?
OK, OK, millions of user data sets, so it might just be the results from the internal test scripts.

I would say "should be" and not only google, there are a bunch of other companies that should be in the same situation (or even worse)

Porting Swift to Windows is not about simply porting the compiler, but rather ensuring that the full ecosystem is available on the platform. If it's good enough for iOS, it must be good enough for Windows

Edge under Chromium, Linux on Windows and now Swift...
And then we wonder why the windows updates are so crappy... with such a damned mix of so different things...
