With Preview 3 there are more new capabilities on the themes of personal and team productivity, modern development, and constant innovation. Ever closer: the black beast came forward
Yeah, neither funny nor insightful, but that wall of black in Dark Mode(tm) just frightens me these days.

That's going to be funny...
- OpenAI, Write a program to do XXX
2 hours later...
- OpenAI, sorry, the program has to do XXY
1 hour later...
- OpenAI, the program has to do XXZ
... rinse and repeat for a while...
OpenAI... OpenAI? OpenAI?
OpenAI has learned how to write ransomware and has infected itself to be left in peace... go and multiply by 0, you "§$%/"§% Human...

Do you want skynet? Because this is how you get skynet.
PS I'm tired of having to fix quotes when the JS decides to barf a bunch of crap related to my selection into the quote instead of cleaning it out.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

“#Bitcoin will unite a deeply divided country. (and eventually: world)” "Most of the people … were unhappy … much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy."

Spoken by the man who aided in dividing it.
"When you are dead, you won't even know that you are dead. It's a pain only felt by others; same thing when you are stupid."
Ignorant - An individual without knowledge, but is willing to learn.
Stupid - An individual without knowledge and is incapable of learning.
Idiot - An individual without knowledge and allows social media to do the thinking for them.

Microsoft has just released Windows App SDK 1.0.0-experimental, a toolkit that empowers desktop app developers to build apps with a modern Windows UI, APIs, and platform features. Now with Push! Now we can rewrite Pointcast!
Is this new? I honestly think I'm losing track of their SDKs/Community Toolkits/UI Thingiegoobers

Data quality and security are the most time-consuming coding issues we have. When I got to my current job, there had been almost no effort put into defensive data quality coding We have been plagued with varchar database fields that became too small due to requirement changes, and a general attitude of "we assume that everything will be okay" (actually found that comment in a stored proc). We no longer assume that everything will be okay.

I guess C# is a third world country. Either that, or it's already readable enough that it doesn't require the "facilities" that physically and mentally challenged languages like Ruby and JavaScript require.

By integrating brain connectomics into the construction of ANN (artificial neuronal network) architectures, researchers hoped to both learn how the wiring of the brain supports specific cognitive skills, and to derive novel design principles for artificial networks. On the one side... Cool stuff.
On the other side... what could go wrong?
