The message title suggests there is an alternative to what you have in your article, so it is not really spam.

The link is actually relevant to the subject matter of the article. So I don't believe it falls into the usual definition of spam. You may have your own view of it.

Thank you all for the great assistance. Someone from the mods went in and removed all links to our website from the article. We have fully working open source version on GitHub. This was relevant, real source code with real article.
The spam link however was left untouched.
Thank you again. I deleted all my articles. Hope this will finally resolve my predicament.

I see no spam payload, and nothing that looks like a setup for spam.
All I can see is an attempt to answer the question, saying basically the same thing you said (except less eloquently), and replying to the wrong person.
Hardly a capital offence for a new user who probably doesn't count English as their first language.
