Hi,

I have a list view with 5 columns and 4 items in that listView.

When i click on a row ( item) of that listViewi want the whole row to be highlighted blue , and if i select another row, what that it to be selected as well.
So basically i want it to look like the whole row is selected not just the first column item.
here is what i tried :

private void listView1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)<br />

    for (int i = 0; i < listView1.Items.Count; i++)<br />

        if (listView1.Items[i].Selected == true)<br />
        {<br />
            listView1.Items[i].BackColor = Color.Blue;<br />

}

BUT this works after I change the selection of the row! for example i select row 1 , and when i select row 2 , then row 1 is highlited . Why guys?
Any suggestions please?

That's unnecessary, use listView1.Items.SelectedIndex.

Then to apply the color change use listView1.Refresh();.

The SelectedIndexChanged event [^] looks more promising... Roll eyes | :rolleyes:

Is there a reason that ListView.FullRowSelect[^] can't be used?

The UNIQUEIDENTIFIER[^] data type exists for this purpose.

OK, I got your query wrong in the beginning. You could store it as text and you can use GUIDFromString() and StringFromGUID() functions for manipulation.

I create Enterprise Resource Planning apllication for construction branch.
I need easy to lern, rebuild, flexible and with good performance O/R mapper.
There is many option:
- nHibernate,
- SubSonic,
- XPO,
- Castle ActiveRecord,
- Lightspeed,
- CodeSmith,
- Fluent nHibernate,
- Visual Paradigm ORM.

Probably for begining every orm is good for me but in future when me application grows, not exactly.

Please, share with me yours experiance and let us choose the best solution.

I am not sure if you are talking about translation or transliteration. In either case, your web application will be using 'the code' to get the conversion done dynamically (if you need it on the fly) and updates the UI. Writing 'the code' will be your job though. Smile | :)

this is wt i wana do

1. The software tool must work over network, so that any user on his client station can manage or create VOIP accounts with different access control.
2. We get from the VOIP-Provider the Login & Password for each Phone number. We must create approximately 50,000 VOIP logins by the provider For our “Order Service” by each client WE MUST know on the “Softphone Client” from what registered phone number come the call with the registered Name by the VOIP provider.
3. We will install the Phone client Software later on each workstation to connection to PBX server
4. The PBX server MUST run on the VPN line. If the VPN line cuts any technical reason MUST immediately cut all VOIP registrations to provider and wait that the VPN is working and automatically registered again ALL registered VOIP numbers by provider.
5. To the tool MUST existing following function: One time in the month (so that we not loose by the provider the phone number) must call each registered phone number the other registered phone number! Not only ringing the number also has automatically to take the call for 1 second and hang up and take the next phone number.
6. When we added more VOIP accounts must also automatically added to the function under NUMBER 5!

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
