I create an App. that's execute in PC and I want to avoide to any copy from the App.
so in the form1 I set to get the CPU ID , so after the user call me to get the Pass , he can Open to the Main Form . So the pass must be save in a file or registry system , until , whenever he want to execute the app. , Main form open ... .
( this is my story

There's no such thing as copy protection that actually works.
CPU ID is disabled by default on most systems because of privacy concerns and is not even implemented on the newest Intel CPUs and AMD never implemented it at all on any of there CPU's. So, CPUID is useless as an identifier.
What you're talking about is a registration key. This is normally encrypted and stored in the registry in several locations. When the app is run (no login form required) the value is read back and decrypted and verified.

Hi. I am doing a research on twitter. I found a c# code which is using a twitter api to download the tweets of the users that I specify in the porogram but the problem is when I run the program after a while the program is no longer able to download the tweets and it gets 0 number of tweets. Is there any one facing with this issue before?

Perhaps you can email the author of this[^] thread directly? He's offered to provide the code on request.

1) Never post your email address in any forum, unless you really like spam! If anyone replies to you, you will receive an email to let you know
2) Don't post this in Q&A and here - it's rude and wastes effort.

please can anybody in the forum help me with C# code that can send and receive SMS via a GSM Modem. I have tried the code posted by Ranjan.D on "how to send and receive SMS using GSM Modem" but for some reasons, it didn't run on my windows 7 system. any updated version of that code will be highly appreciated.

I can tell you that nobody here is going to hand over code like that.
If you already have code, why not debug it and find out WHY the code won't work on your machine? SMS and a GSM modem is nothing but serial communication. There's nothing special about Windows 7 that would prevent the code from working.
I just looked through the code in that article and there's nothing special about it. It'll work on Windows 7 without modification.
But, since you didn't provide any error messages or what is happening and what it not, VERY SPECIFICALLY, it's impossible to tell you what the problem is in your specific case.

HH.exe is the Microsoft Windows XP 's Primary Help Application.
If you Start MSDN directly, you will see a hh.exe process listed in taskmgr.exe
But, when you start help from VCpp or UltraEdit or InternetExplorer, hh.exe is NOT listed in the taskmgr.exe.
How can I create new a process from my program, and HIDE it from taskmgr.exe? I mean NOT only hh.exe, but any program other than hh.exe!
The C++ code clip would be great!

You can't. Hiding a process from Task Manager is no possible.

You're assuming that HH.exe is still being used. That's a silly assumption. What possible purpose could MS have to hide HH.exe from Task Manager??

First time it's started as an executable. Second time it's loaded as a DLL in the process that's already there.

I think you are right.
Did any one know that:
Is SnagIt Providing the ways of Loading as a DLL?
And, How can I load SnagIt as a DLL from my code?
|
|
|
|
|
The executable has to be specially written to provide such functionality. You cannot load just any .EXE you want as a library.

I have a Format8bppIndexed image . I tried to modify the palette using the below code.
ColorPalette pal = bitmapImage.Palette;
for (int i = 0; i < pal.Entries.Length/2; i++)
pal.Entries[i] = Color.FromArgb(255, 255, 255);
bitmapImage.Palette = pal;
but the somehow this change in palette does not affect on the image when i save the Image using
bitmapImage.Save("filepath");
How do I make the change in palette affect the image.

We have a web service which is deployed which is beyond Microsoft TMG. If I try to POST the SOAP data using HttpRequest I am able to get the response. The problem is I am unable to access the same though the client accessing the web service (I believe the TMG is rejecting). I tried the below steps to pass the authentication
1) Passing credentials using Network Credentials
2) Passing Credential Cache using BASIC authentication
3) But trying to post the HTTP using Fiddler it works.
Is there any option that I can get the response back to client from web service.
Thanks In Advance

I need to do the following:
1) Get a list of my friends from Facebook.
2) Pick one and send a message
I will be doing this in a Metro app. I have zero experience with Facebook. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Hello,
Win 7 - 64-bit Windows Form App
Did a clean and rebuild on the sln but the program crashes on the StreamReader line. The file is definitely there and in the correct place. Anything wrong with this call?
public static class BOBroker
{
public static string GetClassDefsXml()
{
StreamReader classDefStream = new StreamReader(
typeof(BOBroker).Assembly.GetManifestResourceStream("WCM.BO.ClassDefs.xml"));
string _classDefsXML = classDefStream.ReadToEnd();
classDefStream.Close();
return _classDefsXML;
}
Thanks, DKH
