Hi, for most (if not all) data types MaxValue+1 and MinValue have the same bit representation.
If your code is not detecting overflows, incrementing MaxValue will just result in Minvalue;
if your code is organized to detect overflow, an OverflowException will be thrown.

There is no inbuilt RFID solution in C#/.NET. I implemented my own .NET classes based on my suppliers (poorly written) c API library.
Talk to your RFID supplier- they must provide an API for talking to the RFID reader.

i have an xml file in the following format i want to read a node's text in the following manner in C# but it is not giving any thing why? and how to do that? Pls help me.
Here is my xml file ("withNsxml.xml")content:
<md_metadata xmlns="http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd">
<md_identification>fgdfgdfgjkfjdg</md_identification>
</md_metadata>
This is the code snippet i am using to read the text in "MD_Identification" node
XmlDocument XDom = new XmlDocument();
XDom.Load(@"F:\withNsxml.xml");
XmlNamespaceManager XMLNSMgr = new XmlNamespaceManager(XDom.NameTable);
XMLNSMgr.AddNamespace(string.Empty, "http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd");
XmlNodeList nodes1 = XDom.SelectNodes("md_metadata/md_identification", XMLNSMgr);
foreach (XmlNode node in nodes1)
{
MessageBox.Show(node.InnerText );
}
Thanks in advance.

Better if you used
Using System.XML
and use XMLReader to Read XMLElement !!!!
It will Solve your Problem !!!!

but i want to read the inner text of the any node specified(using xpath) in the xml file.
|
|
|
|
|
Use XMLDocument.GetElementsByTagName("md_identification") which returns XMLNodelist . Iterate through each node and print the InnerText .
|
|
|
|
|
Ya thats a very good alternative thanks for it. But still is there any way to get it with the Xpath as the parameter? Because my xml file contain multiple occurrances of some nodes and with in those nodes some Hierarchy levels are there so to extract them, if i use XPath mechanism then the nodes will come properly.

Sort of an answer....
<md_metadata xmlns:mynamespace="http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd">
<md_identification> fgdfgdfgjkfjdg</md_identification>
</md_metadata>
The only way I got this to work was to either remove teh namespace concept altogether, or give the namespace a 'name' - 'mynamespace'.
Not sure why - I've googled, but now ran out of time....
If you get to the bottom, please reply.

Here is what I have so far:
using System;
namespace ZipArray
{
class Program
{
public class ZipSort
{
string[] zipCodes = new string[10]
{
"33701",
"33702",
"33703",
"33704",
"33705",
"33706",
"33707",
"33708",
"33709",
"33710"};
int x;
Console.Write("Please enter a zip-code : ");
string zipSearch = Console.ReadLine();
bool found = false;
foreach(string zip in zipCodes)
{
if (zip == zipSearch)
{
found = true;
break;
}
}
Console.WriteLine();
if (found)
{
Console.WriteLine("The zip-code, {0}, is delivered to", zipSearch);
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("The zip-code, {0}, is not delivered to", zipSearch);
Console.WriteLine();
Console.WriteLine("The full list is :");
Console.WriteLine();
Array.Reverse(zipCodes);
for(x=0; x<zipcodes.length;++x)>
Console.WriteLine(zipCodes[x]);
}
} I have been unable to make this program run correctly thus far, I am trying to make it to where it will allow the user to enter a zip code and if it is on the list it will read "the zip code "0" is delivered to" and after that to sort the zip codes in descending order. Any help would be much appreciated!

where is the Problem?
In the input or show section (the input/find looks fine but the for-loop won't compile (it's not even closed))?
