I think it does. I understand what I could be a little controvertial, but I stick by it. I understand there are a lot of great, Indian programmers. However, there are just as many that are like the OP. They don't want to do do any research. They will ask the most basic, simple questions, and then demand code. Oh, and of course it's URGENT!!!!. It happens all over these forums, every day.

The problem is that there are a sufficient number of Indians that do this kind of thing that they are tarring all the hard working Indians with the same brush. They volume of the lazy ones on forums like this are dragging the reputation of the whole country down. It is quite sad really because the Indian people that I've actally worked with have all been very hard working and productive.

Unfortunately, it does. Maybe it's a cultural thing (misinterpretation even) but 95% of the questions marked "Urgent" or "send me codes" come from India.
There's also rules and those are ignored (again, maybe a cultural reason) even after others point them out. That's just rude. We're all guests here. Some have an attitude like they own.
The poster from this thread should've just deleted all his other questions (actually, never posted more than once) and asked for help in a different manner, not "give me this". Heck, I know exactly what he's asking and needs but there's no way I'll help him.

Find a term to point a group of people asking stupid questions here and call them all rude or idiot. Indian is not that term. Don't paint all of the Indians with your brush of sh*t.

You are right. My comment was a little rash. I made it because I was irritated with the large percentage of posts like this, that come from India.

You are right. But, people like this make it oh-so-easy to do that. What I said wasn't right, but as I have said, the Indian great's are outweighed at least 50:1. They are dragging the name of the country down with them. Again, see my reply to your comment in my original thread.
I am really sorry if I have offended you, which I am sure I have. I didn't mean to, as I respect you, and the other Indian great's.

I am fairly new to programming, have only had limited VB.Net instruction and now am trying to learn C#. I wanted to look at some source code that is similar to something I am trying to do but when I tried to open it I couldn't. I have downloaded it and saved to a file in Visual Studio Projects file, when I try to open any of the files it won't let me. I have Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 installed on my machine.
Can anyone help?
It is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Can you post the link so I can download this file and have a look at it?

Here is the page that I downloaded from http://www.codeproject.com/KB/game/reversi.aspx
(it is a reversi game) I downloaded the code and not the .exe file.
It was a compressed folder and I extracted all the files to a folder names reversi I am not sure about the extension
I tried opening each file in the folder and got various error messages
But I did not keep track of them I will go back and look

Works fine for me - I opened the Reversi.sln file and the project loaded.

I am actually just working on a simple game in both console and windows applications and what I wanted to look at was how they determined a winner after each move or what kind of array they may have used. Being new to this I like to see different approaches and how they work.
by the way, I did not go to Google thanks anyway

What difference does that make? He can't open the files - nothing to do with application type. But hey, it gets your message count up.

It is possible that the solution was created in Visual Studio 2008, or, if you are using Express Editions, that you do not have the proper VC# Express IDE installed.

hi
a good starting point for regex is expresso. it's a tool for testing and building your own regular expressions and it comes with a set of expressions.
you can get it here[^] and as far as i know it's free.
this looks nice too[^]
or simply google for "Regular expressions"
