Using VS6, I just created a test application, with the view derived from CHtmlView, and it worked fine.

Have you tried with my given url i.e.
http://www.webkinz.com/SWF/setLocale.swf?locale=us_en[^]
Then why am i not being able to do the same? Is there something related to SWF file. I am not able to load even local swf file.
Please help further by trying with my url.

Yes, it works fine.

Hey how can i move CClientDC object in client window using mouse ?
i did it but it show last cicle on screen. If i do Invalidate to TRUE it moves the circle but did'nt show properly in Dialog box.

You've to put the drawing stuff inside the WM_PAINT handler.
Then you'll ask for an update (outside of the above handler) whenever appropriate (for instance using a timer if you need to move continuosly).

it didn't work.And i also tried this by defining CPaintDC obj in OnPaint fucntion
x=(point.x)-50;
y=(point.y)-50;
CDC *ptr=CDialog::GetDC();
ptr->Ellipse(x,y,x+100,y+100);
these both are not working.

What do you mean with: "doesn't work"? Please detail.
BTW you have to use CPaintDC dc(this); inside the OnPaint handler.

but it doesn't work properly. It leave the last effect of circle mean it moves the circle but the some effects of circle remain on the screen.

yes if i invalidate the painting area it hides the circle after moving it, You can check it by urself.

Where you are calling Invalidate, is it after painting in the OnPaint Handler?
And are you still drawing in the move handler?
In the Move Handler just update the position to member variable and invalidate the client region, invalidate will cause the paint to happen, And in your OnPaint Handler draw the ellipse, don't call invalidate in OnPaint Handler.
If you are not painting the background by overriding the OnEraseBkgnd method, then also previous ellipse remains on the DC.

Hi,
I want to zoom in the selected area on MSCHART. The area can be selected through rectangle which will be shown when the mouse moves over MSCHART.
Please help me if anyone know how to zoom this area on MSCHART.
One method i can think is shifting the selected rect origin to plot origin.
For doing this, i will require Plot area in pixels.

I don't know how you would do that with MSCHART but you can take a look at the link in my sig. I developped a charting control and it has support for manual zoom (with the mouse).

I checked your charting tool.
But i want to plot the XY scatter graphs. Does you tool provide that.
I also want to set all the properties og graph like
Axes properities:- color, width ,scale( min, max, major division and minor division), auto scale function, marking data points
Graph properties:- plotting points with/ without line connecting them, grid display function, labeling points, toggle title ON/OFF.
Please let me know if your chart provide this.

->axis scale should support -ve values also.
-> Marking data points means each point on graph should be highlighte with some symbol like cross, square etc.

No, i want the functionality in which we can set the property for one series with either lines connecting between points or without line connecting between points.
MSCHART control provide all this functionalities. But just Zooming MSCHART i am not able to do it.

i am a newbie in VC++..
I have a service written in vc++ (say service.exe).
I want to print a message in the command line if I run "service.exe /V" in command line. Is it possible to do this??. I tried with "_tprintf" but its not working.. Following is the version portion of my code.. please help...
