This forum is for article requests and ideas. You might want to try google.

When you accomplish this, you may want to write an article here about it. Odds are that others might find it useful.

Hi swapnil. I didn't realise you were one of my friends. That's nice. Now, a friendly piece of advice - have a look at the title of this forum and then think to yourself "What the hell has this got to do with an article request or an idea"? When you've thought about it, I'm sure you'll come to the realisation that you've picked the wrong one.

I realised that I have given a confusing title. I am creating a report using report viewer and using RDLC but I m not able to pass paranmeters from one objectdatasource to other. i want the report as follows
H1 H2 H3 H4
Field1
Field11
field21
Field2
Field12
field22
Field3
Field13
field23
Field4
Field14
field24
field21 depends on the value of field11 and field11 depends on field1
using three diff tables.
Thanks in advance.

And still I ask, what the hell has this got to do with this forum? Is it an article request or an idea for an article? I think not.

Post this message on the message board for that control.

Leave a message in the forum below that particular article, and I am sure Chris may respond.

Hello,
Could someone please write an article or reply here with information on what exactly TAPI does? I know it is something from Microsoft to help standardize the way in which applications communicate with and use a telephone system but there is no support for it in .NET.
The phone switch we use does have a TAPI feed of some kind on a particular port which I believe we can send data back through. If someone could help explain the general theory behind Telephony I might be able to create a direct interface myself.
Context:
One company, many internal extensions for different desks/people. Two phone switches. 38 incomming channels.

Good idea for an article. How about you write it?

That's quite a silly response considering I'm the one asking for the article. If I already knew the subject then I would not have the need to ask for such an explanation to be written here...

Hi,
I´m not really sure if I read about the project im looking for here on codeproject.com but if anybody recognices a project that could match: please post a link to it here. Thanks!
I´m looking for a project that focused on developing a framework for lean visual controls for .NET. As far as I can remember the author wrote that he designed a set of controls that have a much smaller memory footprint compared to standard .NET WinForms controls. I´m not sure if he also claimed that these controls didn´t offer/use a windows handle and I think he wrote that they didn´t offer all the options that std controls would.
So if you have an idea where to find this project: please post your answer here.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers
Mark

Do a search for articles on this site, or google. Sometimes google will turn up articles here that are hard to find.

Don't know what happened to it. Author must have pulled it down for some reason. All the google search results seem to point to the deleted article.

Hey,
Just in case anyone else is looking for the source - the main reason why I removed the article was not because of commercializing or anything like that - more personal reasons than anything else.
I had a good think about it over the xmas break, and it was probably a real selfish thing todo taking it offline, so the CodePlex (no source on there yet) site is back and I will be restoring the deleted article.
I'm just in the process of finishing the major parts of it so it's not a half baked application.
Sorry for any confusion with this - a couple weeks I'll have the source back on here.
Cheers,
Tyron
