Hi,
I've added a technical blog and have been waiting for the first article to get processed but so far nothing has happened. The 'My Blogs' page shows my blog but says it was last polled on 14-Aug-14 16:03 and last updated Never. I added the blog at the time specified but at the time I hadn't realised I needed to add CodeProject to the <category> tag and also that the blog article had to be over 1000 lines long, which it is now. Since then I have updated the article but it still isn't being picked up. My blog is hosted by Wordpress. Is there something I need to do to?
Here is the blog feed I have added: https://programmingscarss.wordpress.com/feed/[^]
Thanks

Thanks for the response Sean. I didn't need to add the rel tag in the end though as it was pulled through on Mon 18th.

Yes it is. If you look at the date, you'll see that it's from long before we had the Tips/Tricks section in place. Things were a lot looser back then.

OO got it.Actually it came under moderation list.At first sight I commented it not suitable for an article, but I have removed that comment now.
Thanks

Was considering researching a software development topic, but there are zillions of different topics, ideas, new methodologies, out there; so I was wondering if Code Project maintains a list of in-need, in-demand, under reported topics, or other ones that require re-examination? Would be grateful for any help here. Have a wonderful evening!
Matthew.

The editor creates a new revision every time you update your article. Finalise your article and then let the community have a chance to approve it.

I can't remove versions, nor is there need to. They are the document history.

I posted a Tip, then modified it to update the History section and add zipped source code and demo files. The history was updated, but I don't see the source code or demo executable links to allow downloads. When I EDIT the Tip, I see the files are listed on the right side of the edit page.
Not sure what to do to make the download files show up. Any suggestions?

Could you post a link to the tip?

Sorry, should have done that in the first place.

The files are there when I view the Tip in edit mode, but I don't see them when I just view the Tip.

I just clicked the link "Add selected zip files to article". That added them in.

Well, dang, that did the trick. Not sure why they didn't post when I added them originally, but glad to see they're showing now.
Thanks...
