When you mark a css style with "position:absolute;" it disrupts the flow of the document as other content do not know if its existence, sometimes that is exactly what you need. Also, sometimes it is necessary to clear the css style using "clear: both;"

Not knowing how your document flows (the HTML + CSS + JS), I can't offer you any code snippets. I'm not a mind-reader. I don't know what your code needs because I don't have access to the source code. And I certainly don't know what your "brief" is with regards to the look/feel/functionality of the web page/website.
The absolute property does not flow with the document. Relative property does. The clear tags is there to use where some incompatibilities between the CSS implementation by the various browsers causes certain display issues.
Experiment with relative properties as well as the clear tags. You might also wish to familiarize yourself with the CSS Box Model. The link above (provided by CP Member Tony Richards) to w3schools will have data about that.

window.event doesn't work in Mozila.To work in both, get the event like this
event = event || window.event;
This will work in both IE and mozila as well.

I've been programming in C++ for a few years and in Qt for about a year. In Qt, I've written a data mining software of about 1500 lines of code that is pretty demanding computationally. I want to offer my software as an online web service however, I know very little about website development. I plan on hiring a freelancer to do this for me, but I don't know what specific skill set I should be looking for or what method I should use for accomplishing this goal. Any advice would be appreciated.

Of course you are right, the select element
has an onclick, but the DropDownList control
does not.

A dropdownlist, which is rendered as a select element has the onclick event as most html elements do; however, dropdownlist usually handles the onchange event to be notified when the selection has been changed.

Without using any server side language there is only one way to include one html
file within another html file.
<iframe src="included.html" width="450" height="400" frameborder="0">
Another way is to use any server side language. In all server side scripting
languages there is more than one method to include file.

If you want to embed a page in another, use iframe. Syntax:
<iframe src="URL"></iframe>
The URL points to the location of the separate page. You can also point to a local file.
You can also set height and width:
<iframe src="demo_iframe.htm" width="200" height="200"></iframe>
For removing the borders, use following code:

Hi Friends,
I have one wsdl method which will be called by J2ME application installed in the UserMobiles.
When evver I get the request to my Wsdl method, I need to read the headers to know the user mobile number.
Is there any way to read the headers in wsdl method... where as in aspx page I can easily read with Request.Headers collection, but from wsdl method I am not able to do that....
Can any one please help me in this..
