my flex application is map serving application.but it take time to load.we r using many images to indicate the points.if we have 5000 results in a map.we r using 5000 images in that map to indicate points.
any chance to improve & fast load my application?
i tried weborb.but i don't know how to use that.
i am beginner of flex.
so provide me ideas & samples to improve my application?

Hi Everybody,
We use Sharepoint in our companies Intranet. I'm trying to build a business dashboard in sharepoint which would fetch information by consuming a web service. Does anyone have any experience with this and can point me in the right direction.
I've worked with .NET but my knowledge of Sharepoint is zilch, nada, null.

This is not the best station to wait for Sharepoint answers. Well, Sharepoint dashboard displays all Bussiness Intelligence informations like SSRS Reports, KPIS etc. I am sharing a link that can tell you how can you create a sharepoint dashborads dynamically. So have a look at it:

Hi all,
I have never posted here. I'm a web designer in Tennessee. I'm working on a project that I've had the same problem for the last 2 days of trying every workaround I can find or think of. 
Here is what I need:
A background image (which is the body background right now)which is repeatable with a CENTERED background image on top of it that is of fixed width and not repeatable which I can lay images and flash on top of, as well as links.
Here is what I've tried:
1.)Using a CSS to style the HTML as a background. For some reason this gives me a blank page.
2.) Using nested DIV's to create the body as a background and then the image on top.
This has been the best option but so far I have tried everything to get the top image to CENTER, and it will not work.
3.) Putting the bottom image on the body and creating a table over it with the top image as the table background. This works okay, but it is not very easy to do the other things I need to do.

Hi,
I am generating HTML Content of mail at runtime from my asp page. Everything works fine. Except for some links and in tags. "!" creep in to the HTML tag from somewhere in the Email Message. I have no idea where this character is coming from. It is showing some links like
If i save the generated the HTML code in text file and Preview it is displaying properly. Problem occurs only when the mail is received by the client

Have you tried debugging and seeing where things go wrong. That should be your first step.

I copied the entire HTML Code generated and pasted in a text file and created an HTML file and everything works fine. The same thing works on my local server also. But the problem occurs only when i run the same from my Live Server using CDO.

Well, if the characters are in the file then I can only assume that your application is doing it, so back to my original sugestion, try debugging. How HTML displays is entirely down to the browser, some are less picky than others.
Have you actually examined the data in say notepad to see if the characters are there? If they are, then its your application doing it, it will not be done by magic.

I know this might sound like a long shot but I still would like to know,
Is there a way I can create a aspx page in a library(that gets compiled into a dll) using visual studio, and then load that page from another asp.net page ?

Here's why
The page i want to precomile into my library , is a page that i redirect to and this page determines if the client browser has Javascript enabled (and yes I know about the Request.Browser object but the purpose of this is to check whether or not the client has javascript enabled on his browser)
I want to share this library with my co-workers and i want it to be as easily deployable as possible, meaning just to copy the dll and call the command from the library to run the precompiled page, without having to copy any aspx into the website's folder at all.

So you don't actually want a page, you want a class library that you can reference from any page, i.e. it doesn't need to acually be displayed in the browser. Create a new project of type Class Library and that will give you want you want.

You can try to use the IFRAME to load an asp.net page into another asp.net page.

 even though I appropriate the efforts , I don't think anyone is reading the question.
The question is , can I take a asp.net web page file (meaning the aspx and the cs file) and compile it into a library(meaning DLL file Along with a whole bunch of other code) then if I can, how do i navigate to that compiled page.

hi everyone,
I have a repeater with sql datasource and some labels, textboxes, checkboxes etc.
what I'm trying to do is to databind a checkbox control in the ItemTemplate.
I want the checkbox to be checked or unchecked due to the sql DB values, and it also has to be an option to edit the checkbox
