I am developing an exam web page, i have a datagrid control with 3 pages. The grid consists of combobox template column of values "yes" or "no". if it is selected"yes" score is 4 if no score is 2, i need to get the total of the score of the 3 pages at once.
If you need to compute the total score for all records, you need to track the state of each record independantly of the grid. If your just storing the information only in the grid, it will be destroyed whenever you redraw it. If you are data binging, this should be relatively strait forward. Whenever the user changes the page, just update the data source the grid is bound to for the currently visible rows before rebinding.
But some how the focus is not there in the textbox (cursor is not visible and if tried to type directly on page laod without clicking with mosue on the textbox its not happenening).
Please suggest some solution for this problem.
I'am french developper (so sorry for my english), and I don't find a solution for my trouble :
I have a table wich can show for each rows a detail row, placed under the main row. But when this detail row is show, the column size is changed, I don't know why.
Here is a code test wich show the trouble, two same table, and you can see under IE6 or IE7 that the two table doesn't have the same columns size, and when you click on the detail link, the columns size back to normal size.
set theMail = Server.CreateOBject("JMail.Message")
theMail.Logging = true
theMail.From = "validFrom@domain.com"
theMail.Subject = "Test Mail"
theMail.HTMLBody = Request.QueryString("body")
theMail.Silent = true
Now, the script works perfectly - Unless in the following mysterious occasion (Not intended as advertising - It seems to be VERY specific conditions).
Doesn't Really Matter

Now, that DOESN'T work (Giving a 'The system cannot find the file specified. ' Error (The fact that's it's incomplete code should be irrelevant, as you'll see if you read on)

could be. I think since ASP.NET is released by Microsoft they focused on IE. As far as I know there are some things that work not so good with Firefox. But please be more specific with "doesn't give the expected result". What do you want to achieve?
First of all I am sorry that I was not specific.I had 2 panels.The first Panel has an Image Button.Clicking on the image button the second panel opens.when we again click on the first panel,the second panel closes.In IE it is working absolutely fine.However when i click on the image button in firefox,nothing happens.The second panel to which the collapsible property is attached doesent collapses neither expands.I enabled JS in FIre Fox.No result
