Hi
I am trying to desing the webpage layout.

In .html page:
----------
In .CSS file
INPUT:text
{
font-weight: normal;
color: Navy;
}
INPUT:button
{
font-weight: bold;
color: BLACK;
}
----------
Since there are different INPUT elements, I want to control CSS styles through different classes (of same element but different types) from external stylesheet.
How can I do this? Please advice.

The syntax for that is:
input[type="text"] { ... }
input[type="button"] { ... }
This is CSS 2 however, and most browsers doesn't support that yet.
You'll have to use some other method to identify the elements. Put a class or id on them, our put them inside an element with a class or an id.

I have created an ISAPI DLL which processes some files, I now need to pass the session ID and a file name to the DLL, I have tried adding it to the URL like this:
link.to.mydll/mydll.dll?file=filename&sessid=sessid
Now the DLL works fine without the '?file=filename&sessid=sessid' but as soon as I add that to the link the DLL either does not display or the browser thinks it's a file and asks where I would like to save it.
Any ideas on this?
(Running IIS 5.1 on Windows XP Pro SP2)

Please am having trouble logging in to a portal built on DNN 3.1.1 which is running on Windows 2003.
With Internet Explorer, I can only get to the home-page. I cant log in while with Opera I can log in into the system.
It looks like with Internet Explorer, session is not been kept though I dont know why and how to tackle it.
Has anyone experience this before? Kindly help....

Is there anything we can do so that all the links on a html page opens up in a new window. I am calling a script on my page and which displays a lot of links. I want all these links to open up in a new window.

Double check the MIMI encoding.. if it's not SET to a graphic.. the default is txt.

Thanks, for replaying but where I check MIMI encoding, I dont understand what you mean exactly in that. But I already put ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data". ANd the code work in a local server perfect, but when I uploaded I got the problem.

the ENCtype is the problem. You are telling it that the input coming in is text. try "IMAGE/JPG" and upload a JPG file and see if that works. if So then we know that's the problem..

How can I use the debugger in VS.Net to debug classic ASP? I remember that I did it before.. but then I have forgotten how to get the DLLHost for ASP Scripting to be able to show up in the DebugProcesses...

A puzzle came up today which I can't really explain why, and was hoping someone would have a better idea than me.
In VBScript if you create a string which represents a date
and then call vartype on that variable, it returns as a subtype of date.
I think it should be a string, and wondered why it would return as a date.
dim mydate : mydate = "2005-01-01 12:20:05"
response.write vartype( mydate )
