You can create an iframe element with:
var iframe = document.createElement('iframe');
Then you have to set all the needed properties of the element, and add the element to the page.

hi how i create the menu in asp or html. not asp.net or XML
prabu
|
|
|
|
|
if you have good knowledge you can use layers to create Menu and by using javascript initially set visiblity=False and onMouseOver=visiblity=True.
for ex. in you HTML page define your Menu as:
< href="Downloads.htm">Menu-1
and your pulldown.js should be having this type of code:
-------------------------
var i=50
var c=0
var intHide
var speed=15
ns6=navigator.appName==("Netscape");
if (ns6)
{
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.visibility = "visible";
}
else
{
if (document.getElementById('myMenu'))
{
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.position = "absolute";
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.visibility = "hidden";
}
function show_hide_menu()
{
if (c==0)
{
c=1
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.visibility = "visible"
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.left = document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetLeft ;
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.top = document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetParent.offsetTop + document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetParent.offsetHeight ;
if(intHide !=null)
clearInterval(intHide)
intShow=setInterval("show()",50)
}
else
{
c=0
clearInterval(intShow)
intHide=setInterval("hide()",50)
}
}
function show()
{
if (i<149)
{
if (i == 0)
i = 1;
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.left = document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetLeft ;
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.top = document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetParent.offsetTop + document.getElementById("IMG1").offsetParent.offsetParent.offsetHeight ;
document.getElementById('myMenu').height = i
i=i+speed
}
}
function hide()
{
if (i>150)
{
document.getElementById('myMenu').height = i
i=i-speed
}
else
document.getElementById('myMenu').style.visibility = "hidden";
}
}
------------------------
this is just a idea you can find lots of Menu Scripts from web.

Disable html in your post. I can't see what the xml looks like.

Either arrResult is not a valid node or "Latitude" is not a valid node.
You can print out arrResult and/or arrResult.SelectSingleNode("Latitude") and see which one is not a valid node (null node) and work from there. It might be due to missing name space?

I was wondering if anyone would have any thoughts on how to get around a rundll32 command which is not getting executed through a cgi batch file command under Windows XP. Basically we use this cgi command to execute this batch file through our web interface.
@echo off
del /Q /F "c:\apache2\cgi-bin\CGItemp*"
del /Q /F "c:\upgrade\updates\*.*"
Extrac32.exe /Y /E /A /L "c:\upgrade\updates" "c:\upgrade\update.cab"
rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 c:\upgrade\updates\Update.inf
The batch file runs fine locally on a machine. When executed through our Apache web server on a remote computer all commands in the batch file execute except the rundll32 command line.
Is there a better way to do something like this? This worked fine on systems running Windows 2000 and now it seems like Windows XP has locked it down.

Hello,
Newbie here. I'm trying create a simple, one-page ASP form that allows users to enter their email address, click submit, and if the email address has a match in the MS SQL database, use JMail to email them their password. below is the code. Please note that the include 'db.inc' is the database connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Examples are best as I'm learning. Thanks.
<code>
<%@ LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" %>
<!-- #include file="db.inc" -->
<%
'Check if the form has been processed
If Request.Form("process")="true" Then
'Check the recordset for a valid record
"SELECT * FROM Employers WHERE email = '" & email & "'"
End If
%>
<head>
<title>Send Password</title>
</head>
<body>
<%
'checks if email address exists in the database before sending a message.
If objrs.EOF then
%>
<table border="0" cellPadding="0" cellSpacing="1" width="540">
<tr>
<td class="title-err" bgcolor="#FF0000"><font color="#FFFFFF"><b>Invalid Email Address</b></font></td>
</tr>
</table>
<p><span class="text-err">We could not find</span><span class="text3b"> <%=email%></span>
<span class="text-err"> in our database.</span></p>
<% Else %>
<%
'sets variables
email = request.form("email")
'chooses username and password from database that correspond to submitted email address.
pass = objrs.Fields("pw")
Set JMail = Server.CreateObject("JMail.SMTPMail")
JMail.ServerAddress = "REMOVED FOR FORUM POST"
JMail.Sender = "EMAIL REMOVED FOR FORUM POST"
JMail.Subject = "Your Password"
JMail.AddRecipient = email
JMail.Body = "Your user name and password are below as requested:" & vbCrLf
JMail.Body = JMail.Body & "Per your request your account login information is: " & vbCrlf & vbCrlf _
& "Password=" & pw & vbCrlf
JMail.Body = JMail.Body & "You may now use these to log on"
JMail.Priority = 3
JMail.Execute
%>
<p class="text2">We just sent your login information to <%=email%>.<br>
You should receive it shortly.</p>
<%
' Close Data Access Objects and free connection variables
objDC.Close
Set objRS = Nothing
'Set objDC = Nothing
%>
<%end if%>
</body>
</html>

I have the task of re-writing an HTTP service for a client. The current implementation is a COM object using the WinHTTP API. WinHttp seems the perfect choice for the task but the client has had reliability problems with the current implementation and thinks the problem is WinHTTP. Can anyone comment on their experience with WinHTTP? Is it possible to build a robust, reliable WinHTTP application that uses the asynchronous capability of WinHTTP? I'm surprised at the lack of discussion board activity and examples about this API if it is widely used... Comments, examples? Thanks!

Hi all!
I've created ASP.NET web application, but when i'm in IE6 and try to download a file (.xls and .xml) from the IIS I get this:
Internet Explorer cannot download File.doc from ServerName.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet Site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
This works fine in Firefox and in IE6 before the hosts moved the site to a new machine so I don't think this is coused by the programming.
Any ideas of why this is?
Thanks in advance

Before purchasing a control suite from telerik I used it a bit. I was always impressed with it, better than most commercial ones. Plus being able to be used with asp, .net, java etc... very cool.
