Thanks for your email. I don't respond privately, if I did, people like you would get my email address.
Spamming the whole site is antisocial, and it clogs the site when other people are trying to get help, too.

Hi ,
I have been asked to build an asp.net site to create a ticket tracking site.
When a vendor sends an issue by mail his mail gets logged with id to any of the five helpdesk personell logged in one of the checks out the request to himself to answer.
For example call log id 1: I have not recd payment for PO 998 is the mail sent by vendor.
The helpdesk sees this request and asks details by mail
Call log id 1 reply : We do not have your account number pls provide the same
The vendor replies with account number by mail
Now how do i link the mail coming from out side to the original mail so that the helpdesk is aware of the ticket histroy.
Please note all interaction is happening through mail.Any help in letting me know how to implement mail tracking it would be great.
Thanks,
Hemanth

Check the MIME type your server is returning for the file. AFAIK, it needs to be specific: application/excel or application/x-excel or something like that.
Also keep in mind that not all browsers will open these files, even if Excel is installed on the user's machine.

We're looking to replace our current javascript pop-up calendar control with one that works in FF3 (and all other major browsers).
What should we go for?

Oh, go figure... I even meant to read this forum first but got lazy while dragging my mouse across the forum list.
Uh, anyway... I like this one[^] quite a bit. Robust, flexible styling, no server-side requirements, easy to use on pages that are intended to degrade in the absence of JS support...

I was going to say 'that's a big download just for a calendar' then I looked at the minified version. Then I looked at the packed version. Then I compared the size to our current calendar control. Then I looked at all the other stuff jQuery does.
Sold.

Believe me, the idea that i could slightly reduce the load-time of CPhog if CP already loaded jQuery was far, far from my mind when i suggested this... :halo:

It's not really clear what it is that you mean. The form object only exists in the browsers, so there is nothing that your ASP code can do with it. On the server side where the ASP code runs, the form data only exists as a collection of values. Is it the Request.Form collection that you mean?
Amr M. K. wrote: I heard that it very good way.
Where have you heard that?

Hi,
I have created an advertisement box and I want that to stay on the screen even if people go to other webpages. How can it be possible?
|
|
|
|
|
Use frames, so the box is in one frame, and the user navigates in the other.

Thank You for your reply but I want the ad box to be movable to different corners of their screen. Then by using frames it will be stable in one place is it?
