i have a case where i need to add 2 attributes to the same drop down list at the same time.

ddlEvent.Attributes.Add("onchange", "needToConfirm=true")
what happens is that only the second javascript is executed while i need to execute both. any Ideas

put these lines of code in a loop

Didnt work
|
|

you will have to do something like this then:
ddlEvent.Attributes.Add("onchange", "ShowHideTables()";"onchange", "needToConfirm=true" )
or play around with the synbtax might be a variation of this

Hi,
I converted a large (30.000 lines) localization XML file into separate RESX files. One file per module and per language. This resulted in 320 files! (I followed a globalization tutorial on this site, to change our existing language system.) (strings of 10-12 languages, 15-20 program modules)
Anyone has experiences with this amount of data? Will this work ok? Compile time, load speed when deployed, etc? (Before I change the 5.000 references in the program. )
Many thanks,
Ferenc

Try here[^], but also, if you have a message for someone, email them. If they wrote an article on this site, contact them via the forum under that article.

I'm sure you think it is, but still, please don't ask the same thing twice.

Hi,
I am crating mdb file dynamically on C dirve as (c:\1.mdb) and after that I am using oledbconnection. In that I am using the created mdb (i.e. C:\1.mdb) file as database file.
But it gives me error that file already open.
If I used static file (C:\1.mdb)that is already created then it works.
So How can I used Dynamically created file?
Or Is there any other solution for the same.

I guess it's not an ASP.NET question. Is it ? You need to remove all the handles to the file before you can access it. Make sure you are calling the Dispose/Close method in the IO class used.

I am creating mdb file using ASP.Net.
Now the errors comes that Could not use ";file already in use.
Here is the code.
Dim File_Path As String
File_Path = path + "\\" + ExamID.ToString() + ".mdb"
IO.File.Create(File_Path)
Dim Access_ConnStr As String = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" + File_Path
Dim Access_Conn As Data.OleDb.OleDbConnection
Access_Conn = New Data.OleDb.OleDbConnection(Access_ConnStr)
Access_Conn.Open()
When Access_Conn.Open() get executed then the error comes

Use FileStream to create a file. Dispose FileStream object before you issue OledbConnection .

As you are opening the window with the target 'a', it will open in the same window once there is a window with that name. Use the target '_blank' to always open a new window.
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.

i am working on a software..Its some thing like an upload manger infact.. which monitors the upload of files.. if the connectivity is low or if the server is busy it stores the information related to upload ( in a queue if there are multiple uploads ) and when every thing is fine it does the scheduled work..
Some thing complementary in nature to download mangers...
and its a software which works on client side...
YOU can assume me as a beginner... Please guide me how to start off..

learn .net with some beginner tutorials then build the app bit by bit, we can't just post a chunk of code and say he you go.
You need to develop different bits at a time then when you get stuck on those bits post for help
