i am using dbtype , and varchar is not available in dbtype.
If you have an apple & I have an apple and we exchange our apples, then each of us will still have only one apple but if you have an idea & I have an idea and we exchange our ideas, then each of us will have two ideas!

On my vb.net page has following controls
for example:
Label1 | dropdowncontrol1 | dropdowncontrol2 | link1 |
i am using flyout on link1 click
<cc1:flyout id="Flyout1" runat="server" attachto="link1">
<cc1:flyout>
so whenever flyout is opened , it will display content of flyout as well as from background dropdowncontrol1 and dropdowncontrol2 also seen in that opened flyout.
So How can i disply only flyout content not that dropdownlist controls?

Well, it's clear to me now that your flyout is a third party user control. Doesn't that mean you should ask the vendor ?
Some controls just appear behind drop boxes. That's because of how they are written. I'm not sure of the details, but if your control shows up that way, you need to find another.

You're right, I noticed that. I dunno why he deleted it, and then reposted, but at least he finally posted some code ( he previously posted in the C# forum before I pointed him here ).

He actually cross-posted.
Does it matter what I write here? Someone just has to say something about it.

The dropdown box as implemented by M$FT in all their wisdom will always appear "in front' of any true HTML controls. The simplest and best way of blocking it is to place an Iframe in front of it. See this article: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/HTML/dropdown_div.aspx

Hello all,
In my sql query in am retrieving some question based on their question id.
question id is nothing but a primary key field in table.I am sending a comma separated question id to sql query as string.
if shows me following error.
Syntax error converting the varchar value '39,40,1,4,35,41,52,54,55,56' to a column of data type int.
my sql query is as follow<br />
select ques.catid,ques.question,ques.qid,ques.subcatid,sub.subcategory from ada_question ques,ata_subcat sub where<br mode=" hold=" /"> ques.subcatid=sub.subcatid and ques.catid=1 and ques.status=1 and ques.qid in (@qid) order by sub.subcatid,ques.qid asc<br />
where @qid contain=all question id(1,2,3).I am sending this question id as string to my function because we cannot separate integer by ","(comma) so i pass it as string and it gives me error.
i have taken
string str=1,2,3,4,5,6
and pass the value to function. where question id is primary key in my table (int)

What control can I use to upload an mp3 or a video on a site. How can I do that with the standard file upload control since it is not allowing me to upload media files.
Thanks

I am developing a multilanguage website.
When a user tries to access a secured page without loging in, he/she is redirected to the login page which is defined in the web.config by a unique path.
I need to create a seperate login page for each language. So, how to point to them all in the web.config

Why do you need seperate login pages ? Wouldn't you just want different text to be shown on the one page, based on language ?

Yes ..
Do you mean to changet the text on the fly ?

That would be better than having multiple login pages.

Yes, that's how I'd do all internationalisation, by having all strings set from resources.
