Leave alone a computer program, even human kind can not do this.
this string will atleast need some kind of sepeartor to decide where to put a break and treat it as a word/phrase.

Are there any keywords within this string (e.g. status and class key)? If yes then you could use a regular expression to extract the pieces and put them into xml.

i am using following code but it not seems to work can any one find out the problem... and one more thing regular expression validator and required field validators are attached with this textbox.
C# code-----------------
txtagentamt.Attributes.Add("onblur", "AttachDecimalPlaces()");
javascript function......................
function AttachDecimalPlaces()
{
alert("sadfdasfsf");
}

Just to make clear that blur event will only fired when a user leaves the input field i.e. the textbox loses the focus. Just click in the textbox and then click anywhere else and see whether you see the alert or not.

Hi,
I am working on an AddIn to the Microsoft Outlook Office. I have added an HTML Folder to Personal folders section in Outlook 2007. When I click on the folder, im redirecting to specified url. When I specify the internet application (both web and silverlight applications), its working fine. But If I specify an intranet silverlight application its not working. Its working for normal intranet web applications.
Please let me know why it is not working for intranet silverlight applications only?
here is the code..
Outlook.MAPIFolder newView = null;
newView = (Outlook.MAPIFolder)inBox.Folders.Add("TUIPoC", Outlook.OlDefaultFolders.olFolderInbox);
newView.WebViewURL = "http://....";
newView.WebViewOn = true;
TUIPoC is the folder name that i have created.
Please help me.
Thanks in Advance,
AR Reddy

I have an SQL database with an Item table (containing >5000 items) on the one hand, and a web service (ProductCatalog) that "offers" product information on the other hand.
When a user requests a large volume of data via the ProductCatalog web service(e.g. 500 items), I would like to split the response in several "chunks" (e.g. 5 XML files containing 100 items each). Does anybody know how to do this, or know of any article describing this?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi there,
I'm trying to add a component to vs2003 .net 1.1 where the user can add a comment and then add it to the database. A friend is working in .net 2 and said I should use Ajax Control Kit extensions. I can't seem to find a download for .net1.1. Does anyone know where to find such a download or have a component that can be used for this?
Thanks! Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!

Hi,
How could I recognize the control that caused PostBack in my Form_Load ?
Best wishes
|
|
|
|
|
Ok you can find it...
1. For button control, get the control from 'page.Request.Form'.
2. For other controls like dropdown etc from page.Request.Params.Get("__EVENTTARGET")
Actually you will get the ID's of the control in the string format... So after getting the ID use page.FindControl("ID") and get the Control object.

Hi ,
I have a web application where in one form im trying to access(read and write) the file present in my application folder it is working fine in my PC but when i Deployed it using MSI and installed in other machine(Windows Xp IIS 5.1) im not able to access the file...
Error comes like
Access to path "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MyApplication\config.xml" is denied
using cacls.exe i gave permission to ASPNET account to access file but that"s not working even ....Please help me out...
|
|
|
|

I think you have to give the IUSR permission also... Also make sure that the file is not marked as ReadOnly when you are attempting to write ..

You can check to see which user your application is running under. Right-click your website in IIS and go to Properties. Select the 'Directory Security' tab and then 'Edit' under 'Authentication and access control.' The first box up there is the user that .NET 2.0 runs under. In most cases it is IUSR_ServerName. Make sure you apply modify permissions for that user on the config.xml or whatever files you intend to write to. Good luck!
