I am doing an ASP .NET application, where I want to display my grid view as with following requirements.
Paging is working for the grid, and page size is set to 10.
After 10 pages, it shows "..." three dots. I want to show next there always. If I go to page number 15, it should show
the first page as Previous.
If i go to the 11 page now it is showing some thing like this
First ... 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 ...
Here is my Pagerstyle settings for the grid

hi everybody
I implemented Role base security in asp.net on my project. its web.sitemap and tree view working absolutely fine. but when I used below code copied from microsoft site.

i am doing membership walkthrough from msdn. at one step it says set default.aspx as start page. i set it as required but when i start website the login.aspx appears instead of default.aspx

I am facing very wiered problem ..I am getting time out expired ..while executing procedure through .net... though query runs very fine from SQL
and it doesn't appear all time .. after some time .. say few hours .. time out expired starts coming for specific query only
I am using the following query

I would try rewriting the query to use joins instead of running 3 queries in one, that being said, it doesn't seem like the sql query would be that slow.
Also, you are not opening the con object anywhere are you? Because if the connection is already open the dataAdapter will not close it.
I suggest you bust out SQL Profiler on the server and take a look at what is going on. Filter the trace down to your database and see how often this stored proc is getting called. Check to see if any db connections are left open.
Also, view the current activity on the sql server. See if any locks are occuring. I did notice your one query is missing the with (no lock).
select ListingTypeName from tblMSTDirListingType where tblDirListings.ListingType=tblMSTDirListingType.ListingTypeId
I've never used the with no lock in a query (never needed to) but I guess you are doing that for a reason.
