What are the softwares used for menu creation
This means the Person never Bought a Book in introduction to ASP.NET, if he cant locate the Navigational Section in the toolbox then he cant use a third party control to add menus in his Project.
Vuyiswa Maseko,
Few companies that installed computers to reduce the employment of clerks have realized their expectations.... They now need more and more expensive clerks even though they call them "Developers" or "Programmers."

That does not gives you right to laugh on him in the forum. There might be numerous things which you might not be know.
In between, you should read this [^]post from Chris.

If you want to start from basic, use ASP.NET Menu Control.

The question is too vague to answer. ASP.NET has a built-in menu control. If you want to more customization, use any third party javascript library like JQuery or write a new one.

What you have tried till now ?

Does redirecting to an XML file really create an open file dialog ? That sounds odd to me.

No Boss, It will not open any Dialog control.
Response.Redirect("XMLFile.xml");
Simply show the XML file on page !

Do you want to display xml in a web page? XSLT is one option. Also you can open it with a dataset or the functions in System.Xml namespace then display on page with your own logic.

Hi all,
Please help me. I want to read the sms of my mobile from my Email address.If "A" sends a sms to my mobile . I want to read the sms in my email ID.Please show me any path.

This has nothing to do with ASP.NET. Assuming your mobile will run a C# app and has an API for reading the SMS you get, that seems like the path forward.

Hi Everyone,
Recently, my project have a issue, I want to create a web page for sending big files(More than 4GB) to web server.
I have read many articles but no one have a good solution. do you have any suggests? thanks.
|
|
|

I suggest you to use FTP to send files. Actually HTTP is not specifically designed to upload files.
I think it would not be a good idea to send the whole file at a time. Rather create one or more parts to send the big file.

Show me one server that would accept such a giant first.
I've seen my share of useless notions and bad designs and if that guy's clients decide to go through with it I'll nominate them for the Clueless Jack award.
var question = (_2b || !(_2b));

Thats why I told him to send in multiple parts rather than going for one big file.

FileUp ActiveX seems to be supporting such giant uploads. Check out

Thank you for replying me so quickly.
okey, i know your viewpoint.
My requirement is that:
1. The files which should be sent from client are very big, because they are Vedios.
2. The guests are simply men, maybe could not operate FTP client.
3. When the files were sent to server, server decides their storage path.
Like you said, cut the file to mini size and send, but how to cut it auto?

What on earth is in this huge file ?
