if client A page, B popup page was displayed.
And If client click button which "don't want to pop up".
So, I used cookies, but it dosen't work.
1. client connect A Page and don't click button
2. client connect A page again
but A page's Request.Cookies["co1"].Expires is "{0001-01-01 AM 12:00:00}"
Why?
and if there is 10 users, am i have to make Response.Cookies["co1"]~ Response.Cookies["co10"]?
A Page:
if (Request.Cookies["co1"].Value == null || Request.Cookies["co1"].Expires >= DateTime.Now)
{
Response.Cookies["co1"].Value = "1";
Response.Cookies["co1"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(1);
PopUp B Page.
}// if (Request.Cookies["co1"].Value == null || Request.Cookies["co1"].Expires >= DateTime.Now)
B Page:
if client click button
->
Response.Cookies["co1"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1);
RegisterStartupScript("load", "<script type=\"text/javascript\">\n" + "self.close();\n" + "<" + "/script>");

You can not access cookies that were created on domain A from domain B. So I guess cookies won work here.
No you don't need to create cookies based on number of users ("c1" ... "c10"), since cookies get stored client side.

autoextender result was coming behind Flah inside iframe.
To resolve the issue we have used the attached code.
As a result autoextender result is coming above flash.
But the cursor started blinking very fast in all the textbox of the page in an abnormal way.
We need to know how to make the cursor blink in normal way.

We have used an ajax autoextender inside a user control in a web application.
Now we need to make the “MinimumPrefixLength” property of Autoextender configurable from server side.
But as we are using an WebApplication(not a website), we are not able to access the Autoextender ID from codebehind.
As a result not able to configure the property.
We have tried using tag “<%=>” and keeping a property inside this to assign the value. But its giving error.
“can not convert to Syestem.Int32”
Can Any one please suggest how to make the property configurable.

Hello all,
I am trying to display a jpg image but I am unable to view it in browser.
I am trying to load the image from a folder but when i run the program inside the picture box i see cant see the image, the thing i can see is a small icon of a bmp image. My code is like that;
string unid = "81625517981";
BarcodeLib.Barcode barcode = new BarcodeLib.Barcode();
barcode.IncludeLabel = true;
barcode.Encode(BarcodeLib.TYPE.CODE39, unid, Color.Black, Color.White, 196, 96);
barcode.SaveImage("C:\\BarcodeLabels\\" + unid + ".jpg", SaveTypes.JPG);
string imageFilePath = "C:\\BarcodeLabels\\" + unid + ".jpg";
ImageBarcode.ImageUrl = imageFilePath;
I also added the following to my web.config file under the file, which according to the docs should grant anybody access to the images folder whether they have logged in or not:
<!-- This section gives the unauthenticated user access to all of the files that are stored in the images folder. -->
<location path="images">
<system.web>
<authorization>
<allow users ="*" />
</authorization>
</system.web>
</location>
can you please tell me what I am missing ?

Nope changing the "\" to "/" didnt work. I tried vice-a-versa
|
|
|
|
|
Have you tried removing the second slash at the end?
(Sorry, just noticed it!)
barcode.SaveImage("C:\\BarcodeLabels\" + unid + ".jpg", SaveTypes.JPG);<br />
string imageFilePath = "C:\\BarcodeLabels\" + unid + ".jpg";
Note it is "C://BarcodeLabels/", not // at the end.

Yes, I tried it when i saw you replied but it didnt make any effect. I thought displaying an image is a piece of cake but now it is giving me a headache.

i could be way off base and blowing smoke up all our tails, but have you accounted for the / being an escape character? In some code I have written I have had to account for that even inside a quoted string. Basically I'm thinking that the / is the right one to use but you might have to have an extra / for each one that actually goes in the path. silly as it sounds instead of c:// it would be c:////
then again as i said I could be dead wrong but I have had to use that in one app that i did.

\ is the escape character, not /.

|

yessir I stand corrected. I caught that myself just about 5 seconds before you busted me. My apologies.

"\\\\twipdc\\shared\\public\\"
This is the line I had to use. it is in a string for a fileuploader path. twipdc is a shared drive then the folder paths.. again it might not apply to yours but hey its all I got.

Well I also tried it but i dont think the "/" or "\" i am using are escape characters in my string.
|
|
|
|
|
well my only point was, if you look in the string I posted, I was not trying to escape initially, but the compiler saw \ as an escape character. so \\ was only \ to the compiler hence the \\\\ to get \\. just a thought is all.

yeah i understand what you meant and tried it. while making trials with (/) or (\) when the compiler saw \ as an escape character it automatically changes the font to red and throws an exception.
