Teach others how to write apps that target an Ultrabook and win yourself
the latest and greatest.
Specifically, to transform the blood, sweat and tears shed throughout the
AppInnovation contest and use it to teach others how to follow in your
footsteps, although without the sharp, nasty bits.
You've waded through the docs, you've battled code signing certificates,
you've puzzled validation and you've sworn at your Ultrabook until you are blue
in the face. Now take that passion and write up an article that teaches others
what you've learned about writing applications for the Ultrabook. Include as
much code as possible. Include downloads, demos, full applications. The more you
round out your entry the better your chances. Write about the sensors, about designing the UI, about always on, always connected, write about the AppStore SDKs, code signing, the submission process, the tips and tricks and the pain you went through. Anything goes, but you need to provide code (where appropriate) and focus on teaching, not just doing.
This time it's not about you, it's
about the community.
While Windows 8 is definitely the Operating System of choice to target for
this contest, we're open minded. Use whatever OS you think works best for your
article, but make sure it shows off what an Ultrabook can do.
Your choice of whatever Ultrabook you want, up to a value of $1,600,
with 4 runners up prizes of $100. Where shipping issues make sending a unit
painful, cash will be substituted at our discretion.
The contest begins 15 Dec 2012 at 12AM and ends 15 Jan 2013 at 11:59:59 PM US
Eastern Standard Time. Judging will be carried out by CodeProject.judges. Bribes
