Dr. Shiv is passionate about making fast computer systems go faster. He has led the performance optimization of Java Virtual Machines for Server and Android, improved the performance of anti-virus software, established teams to optimize scripting languages like PHP and Python and influenced the architecture of several Intel products. He is currently helping to drive cloud and data center architecture through benchmark creation, analysis, modeling and simulation paying particular attention to Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning and Big Data usage models.
