Visual Studio would not turn off the functionality due to name of the file... Perhaps the file format does count. But, have a look at my answer, Solution 1.

1 solution

I also get similar problem most of the times, Visual Studio is a lot moody! Reload the page or Visual Studio, it would work then.

Also, there is another option to turn off/on the IntelliSense (infront of the Start, Launch, Local Machine button, after 4-5 buttons and before the Comment out button) it is found. Clicking on it would turn on or off the suggestions as you type; if you meant to talk about the suggestions that are provided as you type in. Otherwise same is available under Edit --> IntelliSense --> Toggle state.

Thank you Afzaal

You are right afzaal, visual studio is moody :)
I close the solution . restart the system . Then I start visual studio. it is working.

Then perhaps the vote should have been a 5, not 3. ;-)
