unable to resolve type licenses.licx

Hello ,

i have a web application i add it to TFS (visualstudio.com)
so i let another developer work with me
-
he download the whole project
and when he try to build
he see this error
unable to resolve type "freetextbox....." licenses.licx
we try to clear this file and build again , but same problem

can anyone helps ?

Help with what? We have no idea where these messages come from, what they refer to etc. Please provide some proper details about what you are trying to do, and exactly where the errors come from.

hi Richard , what details u need to know ? , i said it is a normal webapp , hosted on TFS , this website worked fine with me , when the other developer download it from TFS and start build solution , instead of show build succeeded like me , he face the error i mentioned .

Solution 1

This usually happens when you have added and removed components (given you have valid license for that component).

Just delete the .licx file and Visual Studio will recreate it when needed.
