Hello Everyone!
I was wondering how to test hard drive, RAM, and video memory, as it is done in AIDA or Victoria, MHDD etc.

About hard drives:
Is it just the process of copying some files and capturing its statistics?

RAM:
Writing and reading data?

Video memory:
running some 3D (or\and 2D) graphics?

If there any sources for further learning, please share it with me!

Hard stressing will always remain a relative definition, because in spite of all your efforts there will be a condition for failure that was not touched in the test ;-)
Apart from Murphy's law, if there is something in particular that you want test it's better to concentrate on it instead.
you can start googling around to find something like this[^].

5ed. You could same the same about testing in general. Testing cannot prove anything, if it is passed, but it proves the existing of defects if any found.
