Hi all. I am wondering what is Windows Workflow Rule Engine? What does it use for and where can I find the starting tutorial for this. Does it also come together with the WF?

At the moment, I do not have any experiences with the WF.

Any helps would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Rules technology is one of the main keys of WF(Windows Workflow Fundation)—as conditions on activities and as a forward chaining RuleSet in the Policy activity. it refers to the ability for the actions of one rule to cause other, dependent rules to be reevaluated.

here they described what it is http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa480193.aspx[^]

and for tutorial refer this link

Hope it helps

Thank you Jafarinejadvazifehkhorani!

So that in addition to get acquainted with the Windows Workflow Rule Engine, I must get to know Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) first. Is that right?

Thank you for your time! :)

Yes, that's right you need to kick it off from WF then while you are working on that you will need to study it anyways :). Please make it as answer if it helped
