website setup not created it gives problem

Hi, when I create a new web application I:

1]Add new project.
2]Select websetup project and click ok.
3]Then go to solution explorer and right-click on setup and select add project o/p
and new small screen opens but
it contains only content file ..primary o/p and other options are not there.

Why is this problem happening, please help me.

pls help.~~i m urgently required~~

Solution 1

There should be no problem. In step 3, (when you "Add->"Project Output") you should have "Content File" (of your "Web Site" project) selected, so you have to press on OK.
The "Content File" is the "Output" of the "Web Site" so everthing should be OK.
