I thought publishing a science fiction story could help broaden the creativity of readers or be useful in some other sense.

What I have tried:

Maybe in your blog, but there is probably a better place.
I publish short erotic fiction on Literotica, and there are other venues out there.

No, not really: this is not a "fiction" site - it's a software development site, and while many of us do read / watch / believe SF and fantasy, we don't publish fiction.

As a result we don't have anywhere to put it, and putting it in the wrong place is guaranteed to annoy someone. Heck, some people can get annoyed by postings the right place!

I'd start by looking here: 20 Places to Submit Your Speculative Short Stories | LitReactor[^] and see how that goes.

Yes, if it's about robots or something.

Maybe an Arduino kit that becomes self-aware and takes over the DIY electronics hobby word, with nerd minions.

You manage to harness the Microsoft AI platform (it's free) for evil.

Yes. It is about robots. But a specialized literature magazine is better place because it has auditory who interested in sci-fi. The best way is to publish my story in the magazine, but here a technical article discussing possibilities of technical achievements described in the story would be seen attractive and useful.
