Hi All,

Is there any way to display a DialogBox (Form) to the desktop from a windows service?

Thanks in advance :-)

Hello... 1 min :-) can we take a screenshot of the desktop from a service?

In the same way that you have to use a separate app for message boxes, you need to do the same for desktop access as well.

Not reliably.

The normal solution is to write a windows app that communicates with the service using WCF.

OK. Thanks you :-) Service and the user interface are two different thing. right?

Yes, they have to be, because the service can be running when no-one is logged on ( and therefore there is no desktop )
