It sounds like you simply need to place the code which shows the about box in a DLL! What's the specific problem you're having?

Actually I am working on a java project using jni concept I have used c++ dll to add the about menu in the system menu when I click the right mouse button on the title bar in window application and on the click of that system menu I want to show a about box because to do this I have used the mywndproc in c++ dll which is called automatically on the menu click, I am unable to transfer the information about the menu click, so I am just thinking that why not to show the box in the dll.
