Hi,

The company I am currently working for are considering upgrading to .NET 4 from .NET 1.1. They seem to be concerned that .NET 4 will open up there network to more attacks. Is there any truth behind this and is there anyone who could point me in the direction of security facts about .NET 4?

Thanks in advance.

Please keep in mind that v.1.1 was never a mature version. You hardly can rely on it more than on v.4.0. In my opinion anything below v.2.0 should not be used.
